For most people, becoming a police officer is a career move. After their training, they will assume the mantel of a law enforcement warrior. They expect an abundance of rules, guidelines and strict routines to follow.

Constance Armitage isn’t most people, but she is a warrior. She completed her sergeant’s exams and worked undercover before her transfer to the Metropolitan Police Service in London. There, she met DS Jason Knight, a man who would help shape how the young woman performed her role. Under Jason’s guidance, Constance already understood that law and justice were not on the same playing field.

Crossing Constance would be foolhardy, and it would be a serious miscalculation to think she played by the rules.
