Having noticed how many new authors are trying their hand at short story writing, I felt the need to produce a basic guide on the discipline of writing short stories, and also how to write them to enter in competitions.
There is no substitute for actually doing something, as some folk might say, but in this case I believe there are many out there who are rushing into the short story arena. There are a lot of aspects of the art not being observed so I’ve composed two separate areas to consider.
