This is a fancy word for layout, so it includes such things as chapter headings, sub-headings, paragraph breaks, and a few other things which are not important in the early stages.

At reveille, a lesson in preparation and organisation was to be learned. If the first day were anything to go by, none of us would be ready for the next one.
I got that right.
The NCOs came around our accommodation on their first ‘room inspection’. At the risk of sounding cowardly, I don’t think I could clearly explain what happened that first morning, but I owe it to you to try dear reader so I’ll paint you a little picture of events.
