Five years had passed since a small band of apocalypse survivors found themselves entombed in a disused railway tunnel. The group explored, adapted and established itself. As a self-sufficient community within a Scottish mountain, they were producing a new generation.
From high up on the mountain, there were sightings of somebody or something down below. The movements had been near the loch and caves at the edge of the nearby forest.
Could it be the murderer who escaped incarceration five years earlier, accepting banishment? If it were a person or more than one who had survived residual radiation did this signal new threats to the thriving community inside the mountain?
Once again, Bill Kane stepped forward to investigate the unknown.
